Daan Roosegaarde’s latest artwork GROW is an homage to the beauty of agriculture. In the world film premiere GROW appears as a 20,000m2 luminous dreamscape of red and blue waves of light over an enormous field. GROW is inspired by scientific light recipes which improve plants’ growth and resilience.

The power of Fortnite

I never understood the fascination with watching YouTubers play video games. My nephews are addicted to watching DanTDM play Minecraft and now are aspiring to be a gamer on YouTube. I thought it was a generational thing until I asked them about the Fortnite game. They told me that Ninja is the best player and that when they are ready to play the game, they will know how to use all the best moves because of him.

This is what the president of an advertising agency said to me as we sat with our clients at dinner. He pauses and continues, “I hope you don’t mind me speaking for you…” as he proceeds to tell the clients about a proposal I prepared for one of their other luxury brands for a potential experiential marketing exhibition.
