On a recent trip to Barcelona I stalked everything space that was conceived and design by Antoni Gaudi. I was surprised at the immense effort it was to trek up the hill to Guell Park. I was even more shocked to enter the public park to find out that there was now an entry fee to explore the municipal park.
But after that initial shock, the awe that I experience was truly remarkable. Gaudi was no doubt a genuis. The one element that I didn’t expect to find was the cavernous lower elements lifting up the tiled show pieces. And the height it creates to capture the panoramic views of Barcelona.
