Derek McLeod

Designer Series is a video blog series that focuses on artisans and creators in the communities that we build in. Our first article focuses on Derek McLeod an industrial design located in The Toronto Junction. Derek is a graduate from OCAD university and has always been attracted to designing furniture. For the DUKE presentation centre, Derek was asked to redesign his sling back chair. Using different methods of manufacturing, we follow he’s process from drawing, CNC to construction.
