Final thesis for an MA in Interdisciplinary Design Strategies, IADT, that investigates the the re-imagination of one of the most important exhibitions for contemporary design, the architecture biennale, and explores what the future of this institution and its didactic material could be.
Using collaborative and participatory methods to investigate what the new context or ecosystem could be for an architecture biennale, the result is the initial concept of a “Biennale of Ideas”. A format where people come together to share and collaborate on new ideas about the world of architecture and design culture. Where the spirit of the architecture biennale is not about setting themes within walls for individuals to explore, it is about the presentation of new and unprecedented ideas which go beyond the physical form. It’s the celebration of ideas and advancing. To view more images of the final project, please visit my Behance page here.
